Owd Nell’s Tavern are hosting the North West ’s only Pressed Cider Festival is being held at Guy’s Thatched Hamlet, on Friday 31^st July to Sunday 2^nd August 2009. The festival is being held in conjunction with Thatcher’s Cider. Half Barrel Cider dip - dip a mug and taste our cider..

‘Owd Nell’s Canalside Cider Press Bar – will be open all weekend from 12 noon through to midnight for the festival with cask cider tasting & lots more…

Friday 31^st July –

A fabulous Live Rock Band on the canalside "SHIVER" from 9pm – with DJ Darrell Edwards, BBQ, Half Barrel Cider Dip.

Saturday 1^st August –

Live Band on the canalside from 9pm - "Ricochet" a Lancashire Rock & Roll band with Elvis Clegg!!, Darrell Edwards, Morris dancers, 'Owd Nell's Annual Jelly Clodding Champiionship, Apple Bobbing, BBQ etc…

Sunday 2^nd August –

Fun Day – with something for all the family!!! Special Wassailing Cider welcoming of the 2009 Cider by Barge, Morris Dancers, DJ, Punch & Judy Magic Show, Fairground Rides, Falconry & lots more. Scarecrow Competition – fantastic prizes for the best ones!!! Live Band on the Canalside "Trouble 'at Mill" a great Lancashire Folk Band.

Charity Guy's/Thatchers Cider Cups on Sale all weekend - In aid of Vine House cancer Care, Preston.
